Hotshot Equipment Checklist: Pro Kit
Hotshot success starts with a broker-friendly setup. We dispatch CDL-A hotshot carriers running 40’+ gooseneck or 35’+5’ (40’ preferred with mega ramps), with the ability to scale 17,000 lbs+ and current MC/Insurance.
Truck (1-ton dually)
Common: 3500/4500/5500-class dually with mirrors, controller, and proper hitch prep.
Trailer (35’+5’ or 40’+ gooseneck)
Bonus: winch plate, solid D-rings, stake pockets, and good lighting reduce load issues.
Securement & tarping
We confirm securement expectations up front to avoid “surprise” instructions at pickup.

Hotshot Dispatch Built for Speed, Accuracy & Profit
Hotshot carriers win when they stay moving. Freight Girlz helps you run faster with load hunting, rate negotiation, and paperwork support — while protecting your schedule and equipment limits. We build your week around all-miles RPM (including deadhead), fast reloads, and lanes that make sense.
Why Choose Freight Girlz for Hotshot Dispatch Services?
No overseas call centers. Fast answers when plans change.
Hotshot is time-sensitive — we chase freight that matches the pace.
RCs, packets, and POD flow organized to prevent pay delays.
We match loads to trailer length, ramp setup, and payload limits.
We negotiate with deadhead, accessorials, and dwell risk in mind.
You approve every load. Period.
How Our Hotshot Dispatch Works
Setup call: trailer length, ramp setup, payload limits, lanes, and rate floors.
Load hunting: boards + broker network + lane alerts to keep your truck moving.
Negotiation: accessorials documented (detention, TONU, tarps, layover when applicable).
Docs & packets: carrier setup, RCs, BOL/POD flow, and factor-ready organization.
Run support: check calls, reschedules, and proactive reload planning.

Hotshot RPM Tips (How We Protect Your Margin)

Hotshot profit is won in all-miles RPM. We consider your deadhead, fuel burn, tolls, loading time, and accessorial risk — then negotiate a rate that matches the actual work (not just the loaded miles).
What we document
- Detention terms (when applicable) + clear appointment notes.
- TONU / layover wording for cancel/reschedule scenarios.
- Tarp pay when required (and tarping expectations in writing).
